What means «kaarai»
Kaarai is the name the Wayuu people gave to the bird “Alcaraván”, in Wayuunaiki language.
The Wayuu people are an Indigenous ethnic group of the Guajira Peninsula in northernmost Colombia and northwest Venezuela.
The “Alcaraván” is a bird that can be found in Central and South America, and it’s included in most of the cultures of the region, in paints and songs.
